Purchased this set as a replacement for the 15" 4:3 Sharp in the kitchen. Have other LCD sets throughout the house. The size of this set is great for the kitchen, it is a large screen - format is 16:9 widescreen and packs in all the top end features expected in a high end Aquos set. This is probably the best of the best in its size class range. LED is definitely the way to go - the clarity is superb, brightness and viewing angle are great - HD picture almost pops off the screen with realism and sharpness. Set is extremely thin and has a great high tech sharp visual appearance even when off. Surround sound is definitely the best choice - has adequate volume but lost a point because speakers face down and rear. Would be a little better if speakers had sound output in front at bottom of screen - but this is so minor it is inconsequential. Overall grade 'A' plus plus - very satisfied and really enjoy the set. Would definitely highly recommend!

We purchased the LC-19LS410UT to replace an older LCD in our kitchen. We have been happy with the new purchase. It has a clear picture and is easy to set up and use. Sound volume doesn't go really high but adequate for our kitchen. It was a little pricier than similar size TV's but the quality is good.

I've been using Sharp electronics products for 30 years, and never had problems with them. A year ago, I bought a small Magnavox (19") because it was being sold at a very low price. In less than a year, it went south. Every other TV in the house is a Sharp, and they're all doing fine, so I replaced the Magnavox with a 19" Sharp. It works great, and - knock on wood - hopefully it will continue to do so for years to come.
