The backlight comes included all as one piece, which is good (one less delicate thing to have to take apart). Replacement was a challenge, because you really need micro-sized electronics screwdrivers, and those are not common, you're not just going to have one in your drawer. Get the right screwdriver (size#00) and it will MUCH easier.
