All I can say is, it is exactly what it says it is: the Sharp-manufactured LCD screen for the Sony PSP. The backlight comes included all as one piece, which is good (one less delicate thing to have to take apart). Replacement was a challenge, because you really need micro-sized electronics screwdrivers, and those are not common, you're not just going to have one in your drawer. Get the right screwdriver (size#00) and it will MUCH easier. Works perfectly now, no dead pixels, and I would not hesitate to buy it again if I happen to break a screen again.

My son freaked when his PSP screen broke, and he figured it was time to trash his beloved game player. I was able to find an instructional repair video on line and went looking for a replacement screen. Turned out that Amazon beat eBay on price after adding the eBay sellers' ridiculous shipping charges, and I received the product two days after placing the order. I felt like a hero, though at fourteen, my son managed to contain his awe of how I fixed his PSP at a fraction of its replacement cost.

What were we going to do? By "we", I mean my 11 year old grandson & me. One day we had a full-functioning PSP...the next we had a PSP with a broken screen that couldn't be used at all. It looked like we were going to have to save up to buy another one - YIKES!

Through the Sony website, we learned that we could have the screen replaced, but would have to pay about half of what a new PSP would cost. Still over our budget.

We searched "Replacement Screen for PSP" on Amazon & found several options, including this one. Since the others were all more expensive & we didn't even know if we had the ability to fix it, we opted for this one since it was the "cheapest".

We ordered it very late on a Thursday night, it was shipped on Saturday, & we received it on Monday. It was packaged very securely & was exactly as described on Amazon.

I previously owned a SAMSUNG 55" LED and replaced it with this TV. I was apprehensive about the quality of the picture since you can not tune or adjust them properly while in the store. I am a SAMSUNG fanatic. I get the TV home and set it up in minutes, but concerned about the picture. The mistake made was using the picture settings I normally selected with my Samsung. I used the following settings for the STANDARD picture setting and I AM BLOWN AWAY at the quality and depth of this picture. It actually, I thought I would never say this, has a picture quality better than the Samsung. Those of you that don't agree, that's OK, I am pleased beyond expectation with my new Sharp 70" led. Blu-ray is breathtaking and the VUDU Apps delivered incredible picture quality via the internet.
This set is HUGE so make sure you can sit back at least 10 feet from the screen. Some of the menu items and APPS are confusing, but take the time to experiment with this TV, you will be... Read more

I have been drooling over 70" TV's since they were $12,000, and was blown away with the value of this particular GIANT 70" thin and beautiful TV. I am so satisfied with this purchase!

You really cannot appreciate the picture until you set it up at home,on 1080I/P and have time to "tweak" it.

Having installed some 250 TV's this year, that's part of my job, I have seen all brands, types, claims and trust me, this TV is vastly superior to anything I have ever had the pleasure of setting my eyes on. (Don't be swayed by the 120hz, you cannot tell the difference over 240hz unless you create a test picture, don't spend a lot of extra money for 240hz, it is media hype.)

Settings are a bit tricky, but well worth the fiddling time. To get the best picture, you should raise the "contrast" while watching the brighter parts of the image, and the "brightness" while watching the black areas. The trick is to bring up the blacks using the brightness verrrrry... Read more

We shopped for this locally because we wanted to see the size and picture quality in person and it's amazing. The picture is crystal clear and almost looks 3d due to the amazing depth it shows. We looked at it next to the 70" Aquos as well as other LED TV's and the Aquos line by far has the sharpest, clearest picture. If you are considering either the 70" or the 80" it obviously comes down to economics, but I can tell you the 80" definitely dwarfs the 70" when they are next to each other. We wanted a TV that would essentially look like a movie screen in our living room and the 80" takes up a big part of the wall. If you plan on wall mounting it, I would definitely suggest having a professional doing it based on the weight and the possible need for adding some additional framing to the wall you are mounting this on.

Words can't describe how amazing the Sharp 80inch is. Crystal clear!!! BIG!!!! What more would you want??? It's a perfect home theater tv. I replaced my 73inch DLP with this 80inch and it is night and day better!!! If you want a big tv don't go cheap.

This television is totally amazing!! Picture is crystal clear!! We have had this for less than a week and are already spoiled by the amazing picture!!! We had this set wall mounted professionally and it is just awesome! Hubby was considering a 73 inch tv, but when we saw this one next to a 73, the difference was too drastic to ignore. We could not be more thrilled. We do have a surround sound and this takes television viewing into a different realm. Personally, I would advise anyone in the market for a large screen television to check this set out. For the price difference, I am so thrilled we decided to go with this 80 inch set. We have a large den so this is perfect for us!!! We have no regrets, no second thoughts, no remorse at all over this purchase!!!
